At Crescere, our goal is to enhance the magic of your event by sharing the breathtaking natural beauty of our lush Central Virginia landscape as your personal backdrop. We strive to serve one client per weekend, creating a very smooth, relaxed, successful event. We allow for set-up the day before and break-down the day after the event. Therefore, your event will be our sole focus and we can provide the attention to detail you deserve.

We have three beautiful sites to hold your celebration. Music Festivals and other large events will have access to an additional field that is appropriate for stages and other associated equipment. 

• • • • Ridgetop Overlook – You will enjoy a spectacular view overlooking the entire farm from this pristine vantage point. There is electrical service and a large level area to accommodate a very large banquet tent plus area for your catering tent. 
      • Farm View Plateau – Our enchanting rustic arbor is set upon a rolling hill, beneath a magical old tree overlooking the pond. This is the perfect spot for your ceremony and entire celebration should you so choose. Electrical service on site.
      • Pondside – Enjoy celebrating on this pristine lawn beside our lovely fishing pond and pavilion amidst historic rustic buildings. A great spot for your cocktail hour or entire celebration. The dock offers the perfect photo shoot opportunity as the Blue Ridge Mountains surround you! Electrical service on site.

For our debut year, we are offering an introductory property rental rate of $2500 for one mid-week or weekend event booked in 2022 for up to 300 guests utilizing one site. $3500 for Holiday Weekends. Please add $350 for each additional site utilized. Events are described in our Terms & Conditions sheet found in this package. Music Festivals and other very large gatherings operate under a Festival Fee Structure. These will be priced on a per event basis.

• Tents – we can procure your tent and other rental needs from our local partner, Gibson Rentals (www.gibsonrental.com). You only pay for what you rent from them. No fee to us. See Gibson Rental options and pricing included in this package. Complimentary service.

Terms & Conditions

 

The following are General Event Terms between Crescere Farm and clients for event to be held on the property at 2423 South Blue Ridge Turnpike in Rochelle, Virginia. Terms may be customized for particular client’s needs as negotiated with Crescere. General terms are as follows.

 

Client Access to the Property Pre-Event

• Initial Property Tour with Crescere Staff
• Non-refundable $500 fee to hold the date
• Once contract is signed, client and planner will have access to the property for event planning purposes on up to 3 occasions and must be accompanied by Crescere Staff. These visits must be scheduled. No pop-ins please.

 

Client Access to the Property Weekend of Event

• 4 hour block the day before for set-up 
• Access to property from 9 am on the day of event for set-up
• Guests are there for no more than 5 hours
• Vendors need to get prior approval for their delivery and pick up schedules

 

Other Considerations

• Live music must end by 11:00 pm.
• Guests must park in designated areas.
• Guest must stay within the designated area of the event. This is a working farm and client must be cognizant of safety concerns for their guests.
• All garbage must be removed no later than the day after the event.
• No fires or fireworks allowed unless expressly agreed to in your contract.
• You may allow guests to fish in the pond.
• No swimming in the pond unless expressly agreed to in your contract.

 

Event Insurance 

Client to procure their own special event insurance (which can be obtained from either their own insurance agent, or online sites like WedSafe.com or WedSure.com – Crescere does not endorse these businesses, client must do their own due diligence). All vendors hired by Client must provide their own Certificates of Liability.

Event Planner

All clients must have a Full Service Planner. This planner would be responsible for all of the logistic planning and making sure that things are done properly. They must be on-site during event set-up and be on-site during the entire event and clean-up.

Crescere to Provide to Client 

Client will be provided with information regarding power and its location, and a high-level map that can be used for client site map. Crescere will notify the County of the Event and coordinate with Emergency Services.  

Crescere will also provide a list of preferred vendors as a resource for the Client as well as information on permits and vender Certificates of Liability.
